This is one of 5 paintings in a series intended to capture the feeling of the mediterranean coast. The relaxed figure composed of flowing blue lines, supported by soft greens and pinks is meant to convey the relaxed and airy feeling of a coastal village. The texture is inspired by the construction of the traditional Greek homes along the shoreline.
The painting is made of a mix of premium acrylics and house paint to juxtapose the deep colours of the premium acrylics with the soft flatness of a high end egg shell white paint.
This piece is painted on canvas board and includes a wood frame at the back with hardware and wire for hanging.
